Birdie is a radiant 8-year-old gray-with-white spayed female Pit Bull mix who was rescued from a high-intake public shelter. Weighing 73 lbs, this adorable gal--who looks like a tiny hippo!--is a social butterfly who adores people to the max. With her velveteen coat, she is an outstanding snuggle buddy. Birdie also gets along well with other medium and large dogs, and is accustomed to living with another larger dog. She is house trained and walks respectably on leash. Birdie also loves to get out and do things, so she'd be a great companion to join you on walks, running errands, or just hanging out. Birdie makes friends wherever she goes with her happy smile and wagging tail. We find she's basically impossible not to love, and hope a fun-loving household will open their heart(s) to her.

Birdie is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines.

Adoption application, home check, and adoption fee required.
